SOUTHSIDE VIRGINIA LANDSHARKS

We are located in Emporia, Virginia, and serve Southside Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina, including the Lake Gaston area. Our small club works hard to "Party with a Purpose"! We hold periodic meetings and "flockings" throughout the year to enjoy fellowship and plan our next good hearted plunder. We contribute donations of time, money and good deeds throughout the year to those in need, whether it be individuals or other organizations that need help. We contribute to the environment by holding trash pick up days twice a year on adopted roadways, and we prepare good will boxes for distribution during the holiday season, as well as when the immediate need arises for families in distress. We're proud to remember a former member each year by presenting a college scholarship named in his honor to a deserving graduating senior at the start of the "O Sail event, "The Crossing" held on Lake Gaston on the second Saturday of August. And we always have fun, whether we're participating for a cause, or simply enjoying one of our occasional social gatherings.
